Package From MyCheekyBoo With BSRB, Bottombumpers, BBH & Minky Blanket In It

Just days after I received that four package, I got another package arrived at my doorsteps on Monday. This time it's the package from My Cheeky Boo (MCB). When I got the package, am quite surprise because I saw it is the US Priority Flat Rate Large Box. I can't even recall if I bought anything from US recently. It was until I look closer and saw that "Pos Malaysia" marking that I realized it's the package from Bonnie of MCB which she have posted a week ago. Hehehe...

Somewhere in November last year, I did joined a group buy that is lead by Bonnie (a.k.a Wannie) of MCB for the purchase of Bagshot Bamboo Row (BSRB) for the new elite fit diaper from US. Due to some circumstances, there is a free shipping offered for this group buy. "This is a group buy that I shouldn't miss" is what I thought at that moment. And so I joined without and second thought.

Usually we can only buy the in-stock diaper that is offered in BSRB store in Hyenacart. But for this group buy, we can custom order the diapers that we want. That's mean we can choose the print that we want for the diaper!!!

I have choose to custom 2 pcs of the BSRB AIO diaper since TY already have tonnes of fitted diaper in the stash. I have ordered a snappiable AIO diaper as I have intended to add the snap myself since I have the snap press and the snaps. It'll be cheaper this way that getting the diaper maker to add the snap since there'll be additional charges incurred.

I like that diaper with the Baby Looney Tunes print. It does look cute in real life. But that Sesame Street prints diaper didn't turn out as good as what I have expected. Sigh...

I have ordered ordered some Bottombumpers OS embroidered AIO diaper when Bonnie of MCB open up a pre-order for it somewhere in early December last year. I have been loving the sized Bottombumpers that I have and I even wrote a review on it. Thus, when Bonnie accept order for the pre-order, I don't hesitate to join in order to get the Bottombumpers new OS embroidered diaper.

All the Bottombumpers AIO diaper that I have in TY stash comes with the standard single color snap. So, with the pre-order I have make a special request to have some twist by having fun color snap. Well, at least the diaper looks slightly different from the rest.

Me and my sister have won some consolation prizes in the MCB Cutie Bum Photo Contest. We got some voucher to spend on MCB online store. Just before the voucher expired in end of January 2011, I have utilized the voucher by spending it on more cloth diapers!!! Hahaha... Seriously, I just don't know what I should get from MCB. That is why ended up I bought the limited edition Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 and the size L replacement soaker for Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 diaper.

Just when all the diapers from the group buy and pre-order arrived in March, MCB is having sales and end up the pathetic me spend even more $$ in shopping. I have custom order a 40" x 60"  Rock 'n Baby Boutique minky blanket which is on 15% sales.

Crafty Art Market - The Bee @ Jaya One

I went to the Crafty Art Market with etsy Malaysia team which is held from 11am till 6pm at The Bee, Jaya One last saturday. Well, it was a last minutes decisions that I decided to go to the Crafty Art Market. I went there with TY. Hubby didn't come along as he is still not back from overseas. I have been "virtually" invited in Facebook by Honey Narasiah of Honey's Hive to this event. Yes, you read it right. Her name is Honey. It is sweet name, isn't it. Anyway, I wouldn't know there is such an event if Honey didn't invited me.

Anyway, the main reason why I decided to go to that Crafty Art Market was to get my custom earrings that I have ordered quite sometime ago. Honestly, am not fond of wearing earring previously because those earring seems heavy and will sort of pull and "dragged" my ear. But now I got hooked to it and can't stop buying them. I simply love earring now thanks to the Honey's Hive.. Hahaha.. 

The paper quilled earring is really lightweight and the best part is I can choose to custom the design, color down to the hook for the earring. Well, because I really love the earring, I bought more earring when am there. There is buy 3 pair free 1 pair promotion there. But of course, the free pair is of the same or lower value and I can choose the design from the available earrings there. With this purchase, all in all I think I have at least 13 pairs or so of the paper quilled earring from Honey's Hive. :P By the way, apart from earrings Honey do sell photo frame, etc.

Apart from Honey's Hive stall there, I have only manage to take a quick stroll to another 2 more stall as most of the other stall there have started packing and cleaning. One of it is also selling accessories like earring and necklace while the other is more on sewing like purse, pouch, bag or even hair accessories. And again, I DID bought something from both of the stall.

The stall that selling earring and necklace do have an online store in etsy. But I don't quite remember what is the name as they do not give me any name card or sort to promote their etsy store. This stall selling many nice and unique design earrings that made from gemstone like peridot, amethyst or sort. I like the earring there but decided just get some simple earrings from the cheapest range. That's RM 10 per pair. Hahaha... I did bought another pair at RM 15. It is slightly more expensive as the the seller use peridot stone.

While the second stall name is 5* Petal Flower. The owner have the etsy account but yet to set up the online store in etsy. She told me she'll set up the stall pretty soon. She is  really a nice and humble lady to chat with. I bought a pair of hair clip from her which cost me RM 5 for a pair of it. I really love the hair clip. It is a love at first sight for me. The color really contrasting well. In fact, I did leave her my email so that she can contact me. Am looking forward to custom hair clips from her ~ it's for my daughter, of course... Just hope that it'll not turn into yet another addiction to me. Hehehe...

By the way, do you know that it is the International Buy Nothing Day that Saturday? I would give my support and buy nothing on that day. But too bad I only knew it is the International Buy Nothing Day after I done my shopping on that day... :P

Fabulous Mom Warehouse Clearance Sale (2010)

Fabulous Mom is having it's warehouse clearance sale from 20th November 2010 till 23rd November 2010. And yet again, I went to the sales. I went to the TTDI branch on Saturday night at about 8.30pm when it is going to close soon. Initially I have wanted to go in the morning. But decided not so as I know the place will be packed with many people.

The initial purpose am there is helping my sister to get some nursing top. But alas, those nursing top that my sister interested to get is sold. Most of the nursing top or dress is on 50% discount there. I would have grab some if am still nursing. But unfortunately, am no longer breastfeeding TY now. I have stop breastfeeding her since she is around 1.5 years old.

Since the nursing top that my sister interested is sold, I make a quick move to walk around to see if there is anything that I need as it is almost time for the shop to close. 

In the end, I spent more than RM 70 on some Bumbleebee's product in my less than 30 minutes shopping spree. Hahaha... I know in some place when there is promotion or offer, I can get up to 30% discount for Bumbleebee product but am just kind of lazy to wait for it. So I just grab some stuff since there is 20% storewide discount.

I have bought some socks and tights for TY, a bolster case and a safety latch. Am in need of the latch to refrain TY from open the fridge. She have started to love to open and close the fridge door recently and I find it quite dangerous especially if she ever trying to pull those bottle or anything from the fridge door. She might hurt herself.

Pureen Stock Clearance Sale 2010

Pureen is having sales again at it's warehouse in Petaling Jaya. If I remember correctly, Pureen will have it's stock clearance sales twice a year. This time round I went to that sales again. I have been a returning customer to the Pureen warehouse stock clearance sale ever since am still pregnant with TY about 2 years ago. Hehehe.. 

Most of the time, the main reason why I go for the sale is to buy the liquid cleanser and the HAD detergent. I have been using HAD detergent to wash the cloth diaper since day 1 and I have only bought the HAD detergent from the warehouse sales as it is so much cheaper as compared to other places.

Anyway, yesterday I went to the sales again. Yeah, I have never fail to grabs something from the Pureen warehouse sales except for once. That's the previous sales which I have missed. Hehehe... Actually I didn't thought of going for the sales yesterday. I have initially planned to attend a baby wearing gathering at Fabulous Mom in TTDI. But hubby have a meeting to attend at the very last minutes and he only came back from the meeting at about 5pm. Sigh.. Thus, it was a last minutes decision to go to Pureen. 

The sale is till 6pm and I reached there at about 5.30pm. In another 30 minutes the place will be close but there is still many last minutes shopper (myself includes :P). I just took a quick glance at the sales area. Most if not all the items placement is still the same just like the previous Pureen stock clearance sales. So I just walk straight to get what I want to buy - the liquid cleanser and HAD detergent.

I manage to bought some liquid cleanser for the milk bottle. But hey, there is no HAD detergent. So I guess it's true that Pureen have stop selling the HAD detergent. Initially I thought they have only stop selling the HAD detergent in powder form. Didn't know that even the liquid HAD detergent is no longer available as well now.

Then I went to the clothing section. Have wanted to get some clothes for TY as she have started to outgrown most of her clothes. But alas, probably it's already late when I reached there. There isn't much clothing left there plus there isn't much of clothing that suit TY size. Anyway, I still manage to grab about 3 pair of clothes for her. 

There is timely announcement to reminds shopper that they are closing in so and so minutes and advise all the shopper to proceed to the payment counter. Lols... Upon the announcement, I make a quick move to check out if there is anything new in the sales.

Basically everything is still more or less about the same as the previous sale. But hey, Pureen is offering BPA free bottle for sales as well now. There is glass bottle and the price is quite cheap. I would say it's damn cheap if it is compared to the Pigeon brand glass bottle. If I remember correctly, the small glass bottle cost about RM 10 and the big glass bottle is around RM 12.

The queue to make the payment is quite long. But it's fast as well. There is 28 payment counter available there. Wow, you may just imagine what is the total sales that Pureen can make from this sales alone.

By the way, I did get a free sample for children toothpaste. Wanted to try it out on TY as am still teaching her to brush her teeth.

Anyway, I can't really believe that I actually done my "shopping" at the Pureen sales all for only 30 minutes when I usually will be spending hours there looking around. But this said to be quick shopping have done slightly above RM 100 "damage" to my wallet!! Whatever it is, hubby sure feel glad that I have done a "quick" shopping there as he is bored waiting for me in the car... :P

My Winning Prize From The BambooLite Photo Contest Is HERE!!!

I have chosen the BambooLite fitted diaper in purple colour with velcro closure. Hehehe... You might be wondering why am taking the velcro closure diaper. Well, it's simple because I have too many of snap diaper and wanted to have some change this time round.

The purple color is really nice. As shown in the BambooLite website. I really love the color. Really glad that hubby is agreed on my choice of colour on this fitted diaper.

Anyway, am feeling guilty as well. I bought more diaper again from BambooLite... I have bought another PUL Extra in blue colour and also the hybrid insert in conjunction with their anniversary sales...

Am not suppose to buy anything.. Am suppose to be in recuperation while waiting for my pay pal account for verification. But opss... I can make payment to BambooLite via direct bank transfer. That's why there I go again.... :P

Credit Card Fraudulent

My credit card issuing bank usually will give me a call to verify on an online transactions. The bank will call me call me almost immediately after I done some online transactions to check if it is a genuine transaction. And most of the time, I'll receive SMS to notify me that my credit card is spent of so and so amount. Pretty efficient, huh? 

But this morning I received a phone call from my credit card issuing bank again to check on a transaction. Only different this time is it is on a transaction that is not done by me. After some questioning, the bank concludes that I might be a credit card fraudulent victim.

This "fraudulent transaction" is done this morning at about 8.18am while am still driving and is on the way sending TY to my parent place. I was told that it is paid to 1USA.com. Luckily it is not involving a large sum of amount. In my case, it's only USD 0.99.

Not sure how I got myself into this as I usually only make payment thru paypal. Does this mean that paypal isn't as safe as I thought? I guess I have to be extra careful next time. Don't want to get myself into the same things again.

Anyway, due to this, my credit card is now blocked by my credit card issuing bank. They will be issuing me a new credit card with a different number. This comes as a good news in disguise to me. No credit card means I'll not be able to do any online shopping thus my wallet will have some time to "recuperating" from all the damages done recently. But hey, it also mean I have to look for something else as my "de-stress therapy".

The bank told me I'll be receiving my new credit card in the next three or four working day. But I forseen that I might not be able to do any online shopping for the next one or two weeks as I'll need to do verification again on my paypal account. Hopefully there isn't any attractive sale during this period. Sigh...

By the way, though it's blocked, I have requested the bank to temporary uplifted the block so that I can made payment for my last purchase before it is permanently blocked now. Hehehe...

Arghh!!! I want shopping!!! I'll be missing you, my shopping spree...!!!

Pleat Cloth Pad, Bottombumpers AIO & Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 Cloth Diaper

Curiosity kills. Hahaha... That is how I ended with two more package arrived to my doorstep the other day. All from my online shopping recently. I have pre-ordered the Baby Beehinds Petite All in 2 in limited edition prints (Metropolitan) from My Cheeky Boo. But out of curiosity, I have ordered another diaper as well - the new One Size Bottombumpers cloth diaper. Gosh, I think my "addiction" is way to serious!!! I have wanted to try the new Bottombumpers OS on my daughter as the previous sized Bottombumper have been one of my favourite cloth diaper as it fit my daughter really well. Curious to see if the Bottombumpers OS is as good as it's sized diaper.

The other package that I received yesterday is just a small package containing only one piece of the overnight cloth pad... Lols... I have bought cloth pad from one of the etsy store called Pleat. Again, I have bought it out of curiosity after I read there is quite a good reviews on it. Most of the cloth pads that I have in the stash is from Randumosity. So, am really curious as to how Pleat fares against Randumosity. Plus, it's on free shipping promotion even for international shipping. How to resist such a deal... :P

4th ROM Anniversary Celebration

Time flies and it's already my 4th ROM anniversary. My ROM anniversary is on early October but didn't get the chance to celebrate is as hubby is away for his business trip to France. Finally we are able to have our post-ROM anniversary celebration last weekend.

We woke up quite early that day to bring TY to the garden for a walk. We will bring her there for a walk every now and then. She have been enjoying to have her walk there ever since she knows how to walk unsupported at around 17th or 18th months old. 

After the morning walk, we went straight for a simple and quick breakfast as I have the plan to go to Ikano to do some shopping. To be specific I wanted to go the Toys "R" Us to get a drum set from TY. I saw it from some of my friend's photo in Facebook and I really got attracted with it... Hehehe...

We reached at about 11.30am and there hardly any parking space available there. After making one big round around the car park, finally we found a parking space.

As we entered the shopping area, I lead my dearie Hubby, WH to the top floor. WH asked me why go all the way up. I play dumb and told him that it's better we shop from top floor then to ground floor. The fact is actually because Toy 'R Us is located at the top floor and that is where I plan to get the drum set. Hehehe... Prior to this, I have collected some informations on where to buy and how much is the drum set cost. I know WH will not agree on getting the drum set for TY if I ask him.

As we reached the top floor, we saw Toys "R" Us there. Again I play dumb and said "Hey, there is Toys "R" Us. Let's go in and have a look. While pretending to look at the toys there, am actually searching silently on where is the drum set. It's placed not too far a way from the entrance. Right away I told WH that this is a nice drum set (though I have not seen the actual product, lols). WH response is "Don't tell me you want buy for TY, She already got plenty of toys". My replied is just a simple "YES. I WANT TO BUY!!". Deep inside I whispered to myself that is the reason why am here, isn't it... Hehehe.. I have to persuade WH and tell him how nice and good quality is it before he decided to give in. Hehehe...

And so, I have bought the drum set for TY from Toys "R" Us. Cost us close to RM 120 for it. Most of my friend bought it for their son, but I bought it for my gal. It looks funny, huh? Well, I don't really bother by it... :P And because of me getting the drum set, I applied for the Toys "R" Us membership card called the Star Card as well. No discount for the drum set though. Merely to collect reward points.



I have applied for the Toys "R" Us membership simply because it's free.
Plus, since the drum set cost more than RM 80,
I can get the card activate right away.


After we bought the drum set, we took our lunch at Ichiban Ramen as the restaurant surrounding it got so many people and no seats is available. Wow.. Our lunch cost more than RM 60 for 2 adults and a toodler!!! It is indeed an expensive lunch. We went home right after that. Am getting "old" and is easily feeling tired from the close to 3 hours shopping. Lols... All of us "collapse" and took a nap the moment we reach home.

By the time we woke up, it's almost time for dinner already. As we have already plan to celebrate for our anniversary on that day, we do not make any booking in any restaurant for it. It's an ad-hoc decision to go to The Smokehouse Restaurant as we have never been there.

All the while I thought The Smokehouse Restaurant is located in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Never did I know that it have actually relocated from the city centre to Bangsar for quite some time already now. Not until we "google" for the address. I was suprise with the "news" but it does come as a good news to me. At least Bangsar is nearer to our place and we can cut short the travelling time.

It have never been easy to get a parking space at Jalan Telawi. That is why we decided to park our car at the Bangsar Village II shopping centre instead. Glad that we make the right decision as the restaurant is located just across the road from the Bangsar Village II main entrance.

The Smokehouse ambience does gave me some old English country house feels with the fireplace and the big old English style chair. When we view the menu, I was quite suprise that they actually offer Thai cuisine as well. In the end, WH ordered some Thai cuisine for himself and I ordered the western. So it'll be eastern-western combo.

Actually I feel it's kind of odd to eat Thai cuisine in a western style restaurant. Hahaha... But then again, it'll be a nice and something different to experience too. Didn't order anything for TY as she just taken her milk before we are out of the house.

There is not candle light dinner for us in The Smokehouse. Only tealight dinner. Hahaha... I have mushroom soup as my starter while hubby have the tomyam soup. I let TY to take a few sip of the mushroom soup. She refused to take any initially. But after she tried it, she wants more. In the end, she finish almost the whole bowl of mushroom soup!!! I have manage to drink only the first few sips before little TY finish off the rest.. Sigh..

I have order the western set of dory fish fillet for the main course. Hubby ordered some Thai cuisine that he don't remember what it called. Whatever it is, the meals is yummy-licious!!! I have the Creme Brulee as my dessert. Hubby eat it often when he was in France. He is the one who suggested me to try this out.

Anyway, overall I really love the food and ambience here. We have quite a good time there except that little TY started to be more and more cranky towards the end of our dinner simply because she want to get out from the baby chair.

Spending My Whole Weekend Repacking The Snaps For The Group Buy....

Yesterday it is not quite like my usual weekend. I called up my parent for a "Bak Kut Teh" brunch near my house yesterday. I usually took my breakfast real early in Sunday morning. But yesterday is exception since hubby is not around as he is away for an overseas business trip. Anyway, my parent left after the brunch and I went back home to continue with the repacking of the snaps from the group buy that I have organize end of last month.

I have collected the snaps from Tiny Tapir about a week or so and have started to do the repackaging since then but the progress is really slow. Hardly get the chance to really do the repacking with the busy schedule during weekday.

Finally, I have managed to complete the whole "repackaging" of the snaps process yesterday. I have spent sure a lot of time just to do re-pack of the snap. My whole weekend gone just like that. It seems like I have devoted the whole weekend just for the snaps... Hahaha...

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever organize another group buy for the snaps unless am super duper leisure and have nothing to do. It's no fun to count then re-pack it and seriously it is just too hectic to count the snap piece by piece... :p

Initially I thought of weight the snap then pack. But then, I noticed that the snap is way to light that the weighing machine cannot even detect the weight of the snap if I place only 1 or 2 pcs. Just for your info, the digital weighing machine that I use can only weight items that is 1 gram and above.

With the repacking of the snap done, I can finally arrange some of the order out today. Some will be own collection while the rest will be send by registered post this Friday. At last I can have some of the "Me" time for now... hehehe...

Arrival Of Packages From BambooLite And Also The Preloved Monkeez

What is better than having to receive packages from your shopping spree? I just couldn't be any happier when I saw packages awaiting for me to open when I got home the other day after nearly a week away from home. These package is from my recent personal shopping spree that I have blogged about earlier as well as the preloved diaper that I bought from a lovely mama in the forum. Honestly, these package have really brighten up my dull looking days... Hehehe... All the package is sent to me by poslaju. Meaning it's already here few days ago. Arghh... How I miss the feeling for getting packages delivered to me.

My personal shopping spree from BambooLite came in 2 seperately package. One of it is packed only with bamboo fleece that I ordered. The other package containing the rest of the items that I bought. I have bought more of the foldover insert as I personally find it is really absorbent. Thought of using it with my old BambooLite cover since the insert is interchangable for use. I bought the BambooLite new product too, the fleece diaper cover. Before I got the package, I was told by another mama whom I know from a forum that the BambooLite fleece cover size 2 is rather generous in sizing. I couldn't agreed more with her. At largest setting, it is really huge!!! Thanks godness that I bought more of size 1 instead of size 2. Am so anxiously to try out the fleece diaper cover on TY almost immediately after I open it up - which I did after I took a photo of it. TY still fit on the size 1 fleece cover at largest setting. I would say it's really true to the size stated in BambooLite website.

Next is the Monkeez Nite-Nites fitted diaper and also Monkeez AIO in Wild Paisley print. Initially I have wanted to get the only the night fitted solely just to try it out on TY. Not so keen on the Monkeez AIO as I already have one. Plus this is in girly print whilst I prefer a more gender neutral diaper. But then since that mama left only these two pieces for sale, I just grab it. Easier for me to close her that selling thread... :p



I just couldn't wait any longer to try this cloth diaper on TY even though I already
have the Monkeez AIO in a different prints in TY cloth diaper stash.
Reason? Because this is in a girly print and TY hardly have those in her diaper stash... :p



TY is wearing the new BambooLite fleece diaper cover. She is wearing the
Size 1 Leaf print fleece diaper cover. I just wanted to try out the fitting
to see if she fit in it which she does.



Help!!! Am still spending on diapers..

TY is already 21 month old now and yet am still spending more money on diaper. Oh gosh!! Wondering when I'll be able to stop shopping for diapers. Please help me get out of this addictions!!! Sob... Sob...

Bamboolite have offered some discount voucher for all those who participated but did not win anything from the giveaways (like me, Lols..). What BambooLite offered to people like me is a 20% discount for all it's product except for the fabric. For fabric, there is 10% discount on it.

And well, it's quite a good discount that am unable to resist it in the end. Hahaha... I have just place some order yesterday on a few pcs of the new fleece cover (which is BambooLite new product), some raw silk liner, the foldover insert, booster and not to miss, the diaper as well. 

Ohh, I place order for some bamboo fleece too. Wanted to make some bamboo booster myself as TY is quite a heavy wetter. All in all, I spent a few hundreds ringgit on diaper related stuff again...

Anyway, I just couldn't wait to receive my package now. Hahaha... I just received an email earlier with tracking number that my order is sent out by Poslaju today. I'll only be able to "meet up" with my package next week though as am at my parent place this week.

Two Days Ago.. Am All Tired And Exhausted...

I have wanted to update this on Saturday but was too busy, tired and exhausted that day to do so. Why am all tired and busy that day...? Well, TY have been very un-cooperative that day. She woke up at 4.30am when I am still in need of more sleep before I developed sleep deprivation any further. But awake is awake. She just won’t return and continue with her sleep. So there you go. My day starts at 4.30am that day. Me and hubby was “forced” got to wake up and play with her. She just keep on calling “Pa Pa” and “Ma Ma” until both of us is wake up even though we thought of continue to pretends sleeping!!!

When it’s time, hubby bathes TY. It has been hubby’s everyday job. We set out for a breakfast right after. I know I’ll be in a rush that day as hubby will be going overseas, I’ll need to collect my orders from Tiny Tapir at Taman Melawati, attending friend’s shop opening in Bangsar Shopping Centre, to meet up with a baby wearing friend in Damansara and the list goes on. Out of sudden, I felt 24 hours a day is just not enough. I need more time.

Right after we took our breakfast, we went to Giant hypermarket in Kota Damansara to buy some milk powder for TY. TY was on Mamil Gold Step 3 and I find it’s very sweet as I can see many ants “crawling” towards the milk dispenser if I ever leave it on the table for say more than 30 minutes. Two weeks back I have bought Nan Pro 2 for TY to tryout. But it is not the formula milk powder for her as she’ll poo poo like as if she got diaherra. Imagine she’ll poo poo like 3 to 4 times a day and it’s a soft watery stool while she is on Nan Pro 2… Actually I have bought Nan Pro 2 for her to tryout as I read from some forum that this milk formula resemble closest to human breast milk. A forumer friend of mine tried this on his son also and her son seems to love Nan Pro as compared to other milk formula. Anyway, to cut long story short, I ended up buying Enfagrow A+. Reason? Coz there’s free gift on the pack and I don’t know what formula milk to switch to for TY. That’s me being a greedy mama… Hahaha…

Tiny Tapir @ Taman Melawati

After we bought the milk powder, am in a rush to Tiny Tapir headquarter in Taman Melawati as I must pick up the item by 12pm and it’s already 11am when am moving from my place. We never know when the road will be hit by traffic jam with the crazy traffic in Kuala Lumpur area. I have organized a group buy in a forum for the purchase of the resin snaps. Initially I have wanted to arrange the courier to pick the order up. But in the end, the number of snap purchase in the group buy “grows” and the total weights became heavier. So, it is not so feasible for me to arrange the pick up by courier. Plus I did ordered the DK-93 snap press which make the whole package even heavier. Anyway, I reached there when it’s about 11.50am. Just in time to collect all the stuff that I have ordered.

The staff there is quite friendly though I don’t quite remember their names. I spent at least 15 – 20 minutes there just to check if the items that I collect is as of what I ordered. There’s a long list of items with most of it being the resin snaps of the different colours. Now that I got the snaps I think I can even offer for snap adding or repair service for cloth diaper since the colour collection of my snaps is quite complete. So, anyone interested on it? Hahaha…

 Shoeville @ Bangsar Shopping Centre

After I pick up my orders from Tiny Tapir, hubby got to rush home as he will be having a meeting before his flight in the evening. Me on the other hand will need to rush to my friend’s new shop opening in Bangsar Shopping Complex. Her store grand opening is suppose to start at 12pm with the lion dance and all. But am all late!!! Celine have been an old friend of mine. I have know her since in our high school days. Last Saturday was her new shoe store, Shoeville grand opening. A business she jointly open with her sister, Pauline.

By the time am there, all the lion dance and sort is over. But there’s still crowds around there with all the congratulate flower stands across the walkway. Sigh… I must have missed the fun part. Don’t know who or what to blame to. Basically I have fallen in love with the shoe interior. It looks really nice, classy and professional all at the same time.

Celine and Pauline have been very busy throughout that evening though. I can see many buy the shoes too as there is 15% discount storewide offer specially for the day. I didn’t get to browse thru the entire nice shoe collection that they have there until most of the crowd is leaving as TY have been running and playing non-stop there as if it is her playground!!! Ohh, I meet up with my other old friend, Eu Gene there too. We have quite a good chat there. It’s definitely a good day to be in the store opening except that there is some damage done to my wallet!! Hahaha…

Most of the shoe in the store is imported from Brazil and I bought a pair of the shoe there. It’s just a simple nice flat leather shoe. There isn’t much choice of shoe for me who prefer flat or low heel. But if you are looking for a high heel shoe then this is definitely the place. Arghhh… How I wish am born shorter then I can buy the shoe and flaunts my leg with it. The shoe that I bought cost about RM 329 before discount. With all discount and the RM 80 cash voucher that I got as door gift, the shoe now cost me close to RM 200 and I think that is quite a reasonable price if you ask me.

I take a quick leave after I bought the shoe as it’s already almost 4pm at that time I’ll need to fetch hubby to airport at about 5pm as he’ll be going to overseas for business purpose. Gosh, I drove my car to the exit only to realize that I have not pay for the parking. Well, I got to go back to the shopping mall again. Paid the parking and drive my car to exit the parking again. Lols… I must have been blurred with all the nice shoes in Shoeville… :p

By the way, Shoeville have their own website and I read that Shoeville in on The Sun newspaper today. Looks like it is an “in” things recently.

Honey’s Quilling

On my way back, I dropped by at Honey’s house to collect some quilling earrings that I bought from her sometime ago. I been to Honey’s place before as I bought some other things from her too. She is someone I know from a forum who ventured into paper quilling. And hey, she's on Facebook and have a store too in etsy called Honey's Hive.

I was waiting in the car as TY is sleeping. She must have been very tired with all the “activities” she had while she is at Celine’s place earlier. And ohh… I fall in love instantly when Honey handed me the earrings. All of it is so lovely and well made. I bought 4 pairs of the earring (colourful butterfly, silver multi circle, blue nine pointed star, and red roses). Of all, I love the multi circle and the nine pointed star the most. Hehehe...

There is suppose to be 2 pair free earring that is second quality. These is from the early days when Honey just started to do the quilling. But alas, both of us is totally forgot about it. Never mind about it. I think I’ll get more and ask her to send it together to me. Hehehe…

And Finally Home Sweet Home

Once I reached home, I took a quick rest and then continue my day to fetch hubby to go to airport. TY didn’t follow us as her grandma wanna play with her. After am done fetching hubby to airport, I thought of meet up with Elizabeth who is a cloth diapering and a babywearing mama. I have wanted to meet up with her as she have the Bamberoo and Kanga XT SSC with her which am very interested and keen to try out to see if both of it suit me. Both of the SSC cost a bomb. So it’s better I try it out before I get one from the FSOT. But alas, she didn’t call me and I thought she would have to call off the meet up. Anyway, it comes as good news to me though. I have been feeling tired as well.

By the time I reached home that day, I don’t really have the appetite to eat anything. I just drank some soup and took my bath after that. For that night, me and TY slept at around 8.45pm. Unusually early, huh…? 

This is a long post and yes, I know it. But I just wanted to blogged about it and I can only say that am truly busy, tired and exhausted that day and now you know why…. :-)
