Package From MyCheekyBoo With BSRB, Bottombumpers, BBH & Minky Blanket In It

Just days after I received that four package, I got another package arrived at my doorsteps on Monday. This time it's the package from My Cheeky Boo (MCB). When I got the package, am quite surprise because I saw it is the US Priority Flat Rate Large Box. I can't even recall if I bought anything from US recently. It was until I look closer and saw that "Pos Malaysia" marking that I realized it's the package from Bonnie of MCB which she have posted a week ago. Hehehe...

Somewhere in November last year, I did joined a group buy that is lead by Bonnie (a.k.a Wannie) of MCB for the purchase of Bagshot Bamboo Row (BSRB) for the new elite fit diaper from US. Due to some circumstances, there is a free shipping offered for this group buy. "This is a group buy that I shouldn't miss" is what I thought at that moment. And so I joined without and second thought.

Usually we can only buy the in-stock diaper that is offered in BSRB store in Hyenacart. But for this group buy, we can custom order the diapers that we want. That's mean we can choose the print that we want for the diaper!!!

I have choose to custom 2 pcs of the BSRB AIO diaper since TY already have tonnes of fitted diaper in the stash. I have ordered a snappiable AIO diaper as I have intended to add the snap myself since I have the snap press and the snaps. It'll be cheaper this way that getting the diaper maker to add the snap since there'll be additional charges incurred.

I like that diaper with the Baby Looney Tunes print. It does look cute in real life. But that Sesame Street prints diaper didn't turn out as good as what I have expected. Sigh...

I have ordered ordered some Bottombumpers OS embroidered AIO diaper when Bonnie of MCB open up a pre-order for it somewhere in early December last year. I have been loving the sized Bottombumpers that I have and I even wrote a review on it. Thus, when Bonnie accept order for the pre-order, I don't hesitate to join in order to get the Bottombumpers new OS embroidered diaper.

All the Bottombumpers AIO diaper that I have in TY stash comes with the standard single color snap. So, with the pre-order I have make a special request to have some twist by having fun color snap. Well, at least the diaper looks slightly different from the rest.

Me and my sister have won some consolation prizes in the MCB Cutie Bum Photo Contest. We got some voucher to spend on MCB online store. Just before the voucher expired in end of January 2011, I have utilized the voucher by spending it on more cloth diapers!!! Hahaha... Seriously, I just don't know what I should get from MCB. That is why ended up I bought the limited edition Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 and the size L replacement soaker for Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 diaper.

Just when all the diapers from the group buy and pre-order arrived in March, MCB is having sales and end up the pathetic me spend even more $$ in shopping. I have custom order a 40" x 60"  Rock 'n Baby Boutique minky blanket which is on 15% sales.

And, ohh.. Bonnie have been kind enough to includes a sample of the Sheepish Grins lanolin wool soap in the package as well. Hehehe..

Fluffy And More Fluffies - And it's all related to cloth diapers!!!

What a day for me on last Thursday (31st March 2011). There is four packages arrived at my doorstep and in some way or another, all the packages is relates to cloth diapering. But this have not break my records in the highest number of packages received in a single day. My highest record for that thus far is 7 packages which 6 of it from overseas... :P

1st Row : Fleece soaker, Printed fleece cut

Anyway, I received is from Hartini of Little Doodlez. I get to know her from a cloth diapers related group in Facebook. She is a very nice lady to deal with that I bought some printed PUL and printed fleece from her. I bought the printed PUL as she is having some sales on it. 

I even bought a fleece soaker from her as it looks really cute!!! But it's kind of sad that TY is unable to fit into those as the size is too small for her. As she have just started to venture into sewing her own cloth diaper for sale, she did sent me a tester for cloth diaper which is hand sewn by her. At first glance, the diaper looks really nice. Anyway, I have put it into laundry almost immediately after I received it. Can't wait to when I'll be able to test it on TY.

Also in the package is some soaker and inserts which includes the zorb diamond that she received not too long ago. Hehehe...

 The other package that I received is from Nice Cloth Diaper. Initially I have wanted to buy only some PUL cut from Nice Cloth Diaper. But in the end, I did bought some diapers as well so that my total purchase is RM 80 and above to enjoy the free shipping. I bought the mixed diaper trial pack that comes with 2 pcs of the minky pocket diaper with free 1 set of the JCI (Just Change Insert) diaper. Well, I have been quite curious for some time already on this JCI. I bought this package simple because I want to see and try out the JCI diaper. Not so much on the minky pocket diaper.

The third package that I received is the Grovia AI2 diapers that I won from a charity auction that is held by Tiny Tapir not too long ago. I didn't won this auction all alone. I do combined bidding with a fellow forumer and her friend for this auction. You may read about the cause for the charity auction from Tiny Tapir blog.

Honestly, Grobaby have never been my favourite diaper. But when this fellow forumer asked if I want to join in the combine bidding, I thought why not since it is for a good cause. Plus I heard Grovia is slight different from Grobaby. That's why I thought I might give it another try. I took all the new print for the diapers. Hahaha... Could resist the nice print especially for the owl print!!! Hehehe... And I choose snap closure instead of the aplix closure since I don't really have a good faith in it's aplix since my Grobaby have started to loss it's "stickiness" after sometime even though I hardly use it.

Lastly, my forth package is a preloved Dancing Bear night weight fleece soaker which I bought from a different fellow forumer. Bought it cause I think it's cheap and I really like the Dancing Bear fleece soaker. Love using this for night diapering apart from the woolies. TY's already have 2 pcs of the Dancing Bear fleece soaker. This will be her third piece.

BumGenuis, Flip System, Happy Heinys & BambooLite AI2 Is Here!!!

It have been long since I last update my blog on the packages that I received in the mail. Well, the truth is I did received quite a number of packages during the time am "missing" from my blog especially in between November last year till February this year. All those is from me being an avid online shopping with most of packages arrived from overseas as far as from Canada. Am so eager to flaunts all these fluffies in my blog. But am just too lazy to post it all here though I have all  of it photographed the moment I received it.

Anyway, here is some of the the most recent fluffy mail I want to flaunts here. Hehehe... Am so excited when Lily Bajuri of Sentuhan Bayu hand delivered the items to me last week Thursday after all the stock from my pending order finally arrived.

Two pieces of the BumGenius is bought during a promotion last year and is hand delivered by Lily much earlier. The rest is bought individually after the promotion period which cost more. I have almost the full collection of the BumGenius Artist Series except for the Eiffel Tower. I didn't get the Eiffle Tower because I already have the BambooLite in Fern Leaf prints which is also black/white just like the BumGenius Eiffle Tower though both actually have quite a different prints.


I bought the Happy Heinys diapers because I heard that the new Happy Heinys comes with a new sizing which is slightly different from the older version. That is why I grab myself the Happy Heinys in ooga booga prints. I bought those simply because it is a limited edition print even though am not a big fan of ooga booga.


As for the Flip, I have bought it simply to see how this diaper hybrid system works since I have read there is mixed review on this. 


I did bought some other diapering accessories like the Hemp Babies raw silk liner, Hemp Babies doublers, Cotton Babies One Size Insert Sock and also the additional stay dry insert for Flip. All these is also bought from Sentuhan Bayu but not photographed with the diapers above.

Next, I have the BambooLite AI2. I just got this on Monday. This is a new product from BambooLite which offer a stay dry inner that can be use as AI2 instead of it's usual product which have the bamboo velour for the inner. Actually I have already got the news that BambooLite will have AI2 in it's product line when I enquiry them about it end of last year. Hehehe... I sent them email last year as I wanted to introduce cloth diapering to one of my relative but would like to know if BambooLite will be having diaper with stay dry inner. It is then that I was told that BambooLite might have this new product in March this year (which they really did).

I have been so tempted to get one since it is launched but have been trying hard to resist myself from any of the group buy since TY already have way too many diaper in her stash. But then again, I just couldn't resist myself to get this piece (even though I didn't manage to join any group buy) as I simply love this diaper print. Plus, again my curiosity hit me. I wanted to see how's this BambooLite AI2 perform compared other diapers in the BambooLite product lines since the AI2 seems to have a different soaker system.

For that reason, I purchase additional soaker for the AI2 so that I can test both the different type of soaker available for the BambooLite AI2.

Now, again am feeling guilty for spending so much of $$ on diapers!!! Sob... Sob... Wonder when I'll be able to stop buying diaper....

I have chosen the BambooLite fitted diaper in purple colour with velcro closure. Hehehe... You might be wondering why am taking the velcro closure diaper. Well, it's simple because I have too many of snap diaper and wanted to have some change this time round.

The purple color is really nice. As shown in the BambooLite website. I really love the color. Really glad that hubby is agreed on my choice of colour on this fitted diaper.

Anyway, am feeling guilty as well. I bought more diaper again from BambooLite... I have bought another PUL Extra in blue colour and also the hybrid insert in conjunction with their anniversary sales...

Pleat Cloth Pad, Bottombumpers AIO & Baby Beehinds Petite AI2 Cloth Diaper

Curiosity kills. Hahaha... That is how I ended with two more package arrived to my doorstep the other day. All from my online shopping recently. I have pre-ordered the Baby Beehinds Petite All in 2 in limited edition prints (Metropolitan) from My Cheeky Boo. But out of curiosity, I have ordered another diaper as well - the new One Size Bottombumpers cloth diaper. Gosh, I think my "addiction" is way to serious!!! I have wanted to try the new Bottombumpers OS on my daughter as the previous sized Bottombumper have been one of my favourite cloth diaper as it fit my daughter really well. Curious to see if the Bottombumpers OS is as good as it's sized diaper.

The other package that I received yesterday is just a small package containing only one piece of the overnight cloth pad... Lols... I have bought cloth pad from one of the etsy store called Pleat. Again, I have bought it out of curiosity after I read there is quite a good reviews on it. Most of the cloth pads that I have in the stash is from Randumosity. So, am really curious as to how Pleat fares against Randumosity. Plus, it's on free shipping promotion even for international shipping. How to resist such a deal... :P

More And More Packages Arrived Today...

Am so happy when I reached home today. I have more packages arrived from US. This time round it’s woolies from Stephanie of Sweet Violets Mama!!! I have bought 2 pcs of her in stock wool longies and another custom of a longies and a capri. You heard it right. There’s 4 pcs all together.

Stephanie have send this out by International First Class mail on 13^th September as what I have requested. And I received it today. I got this exactly 7 days after she sent it. The shipping is really fast!!!

Below is the in-stock longies that I bought. Am listing the full details of the longies so that I know where I can refer to next time if I ever want to sell it… :p

Sunset Stripes longies

Waist with elastic: 15-24"
Hips: up to 28"
Rise: 17 1/2"
Thigh: up to 14"
Inseam: 11 1/2"

This pair is made from 100% lambwool sweater. It’s sold to me as L/ XL size and it is said to fit toddler of 18mth old – 2 years old. The longies is of lighter weight wool. So Stephanie have added a thicker soaker layer through the wet zone. It’ll works great for day time and nap diapering. The colour stripes looks much better and vibrant in actual.

Rise: 20 1/2" but waistband can be folded over to adjust
Inseam: 9 1/2" with cuff

According to Stephanie, this pair is made from 100% wool sweater from England. The size is also L/ XL just like the Sunset Stripes pair. But this pair it is said to fit a children of 12mth old – 2 years old. The longies is of mid weight wool. There is not additional soaker at the wet zone for this pair.

And  now my custom order. Both pair is made to order according to the measurement that I provide to the maker.

This pair is made from a very lightweight cashmere. Stephanie have actually added a full size thick wool soaker from lambwool and sewn it to the longies so that I can use this for night diapering. For this pair, I have requested to add appliqué on this pair of longies (this of course incurred additional charges). So, there is an appliqué of tree on the left and an owl on the right.

This is also a lighter weight wool. So Stephanie have added a thicker layer of lambwool through then wet zone so that I can use this for night diapering. There is a cashmere waistband with elastic on this pair.

You might be wondering why I choose a lighter weight wool. Actually it's all because I sleep in a non air-cond room. So TY might feel hot if I wear her a thick or heavy weight wool longies.

More Package Arrived From US

I received more parcel from US today. I have bought the Monkey Foot Designs wet bag from Etsy early this month and it arrived today. That's about 14 days after I make the purchase. Fast shipping I would say!!!

I bought 2 wet bags (size large and extra large) and both have the ProCare lining as waterproof layer. The seller pack it nicely with ribbon at the center of each of the wet bag.

In the original listing when I bought it, the size for the large wet bag should be 14" x 16" and the extra large is 16" x 22". But now the large size wet bag is measuring about 14" x 17" with the Michael Miller's Jungle Jam prints. The extra large size wet bag is measuring 16" x 21" with Alexander Henry's Alphonse And Mona Animal prints.

When I open up the package, I fall in love at first sight for the Michael Miller's Jungle Jam prints. I have no regret on getting the wet bag. The prints is really nice. By the way, this is one of the last wet bag that the seller have with this prints.
