Review : SNUGGbaby OS Pocket Diaper

This is a long overdue posting which I should have write since early of last month. But due to my busy work schedule, I have taken some time off from writing and updating this particular blog of mine. To Liza Yaakup of SNUGGbaby, am really sorry for this late posting.

SNUGGbaby OS Pocket Diaper in Baby Hue

STYLE

SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper have just hit the market few months back. It is a new cloth diaper brand that is proudly made in Malaysia.

SNUGGbaby pocket diaper is an One Size cloth diaper which is said to fits from newborn till around 13 kgs. It can be adjusted to small, medium, large and extra large size. The size is adjust through the rise snap on the front of the diaper.

It is available in snap closure only. But unlike most One Size cloth diaper that comes with overlapping snap closure, the SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper DO NOT have overlapping snap closure.

Just like any other cloth pocket diaper, it have a pocket opening to stuff in the insert. Each diaper set come with 2 pieces of insert :-

• 1 piece x 3 layers microfiber insert
• 1 pece x 2 layers hemp insert

At the time when I wrote this review, it is available in 4 different solid colours only. No prints is available.

• Baby Hue (blue colour)
• Pink Cloud (pink colour)
• Spiceberry (purple colour)
• Barnabrown (brown colour)

From SNUGGbaby website, it did not specify what exactly is the fabric it use for lining. It only stated that it used a "stay dry wicking fabric". From my personal point of view, the fabric for lining looks like an athletic wicking fabric which feel the same as some sport jersey.

My Verdict (After More than 10 times of usage)

1. Price & Availability

• As I have mentioned at the begining of this posting, I got this SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper free from SNUGGbaby mini giveaway.
• SNUGGbaby is retailing at RM 45 per diaper.
• Bulk discount is available as well and the diaper can go as low as RM 37.50 per piece for purchase of 12 pcs and above.
• I find the diaper is reasonably priced given the material and quality of the diaper.
• SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper can be purchase directly from SNUGGbaby website.
• I was told by Liza Yaakup of SNUGGbaby that currently there is one retailer in Penang that is Mom's Little One (MLO) located at D'Piazza Mall.
• There is also resellers for this diaper in Kota bahru and Johor Bahru.
• The retailers/ reseller list can be found in SNUGGbaby website.

2. Fitting

• Sad to say that my gal can't fit in this diaper as she is already around 15 - 16 kgs when I got this diaper.
• But thanks goodness that I have a tab extender from a different diaper to use with this SNUGGbaby diaper.
• My gal can only fit this diaper with the tab extender without leaving any red mark on her.
• BUT for the purpose of this review, I have actually "loan" this diaper to my sister for use on my 16th month old niece who weighted around 10 kgs.
• My niece fit on this diaper on the highest rise setting with probably medium waist setting.
• This diaper fit my niece nicely that it doesn't leave any red mark on her skinny thigh.
• There is 2 row of snap where we can adjust the waist and thigh setting accordingly to some extend.
• This actually helps to provide better fitting on my niece.
• The bulkiness is more or less about the same as most pocket diaper like coolababy.

3. Absorbency

• I would say the inserts that comes with the diaper (1 microfiber and 1 hemp insert) do not provide sufficient absorbency for overnight use especially for older toddler like my daughter.
• For that reason, I have only tested this diaper for day use only.
• When I tested this diaper on my 29 months old daughter, the diaper cannot last for more than 2 hours as she is quite a heavy wetter.
• But for my niece, it can last longer than that though.
• Not sure how long it can last exactly, but it last at least 3 hours on my niece.

4. Color/ Prints

• As mentioned earlier, SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper do not available in prints.
• It is available in 4 different plain solid color only (Baby Hue, Pink Cloud, Spiceberry and Barnabrown).
• Well, even though it is plain solid colour, the colours looks pretty good and unique on it's own.
• I personally LOVE the Spiceberry colour so much!!!
• But I choose to have Baby Hue colour instead for my free diaper from the mini giveaway since I already had another cloth diaper in the same colour. :P

5. Overviews

• What I really like about the SNUGGbaby OS pocket diaper is the lining it use.
• The fabric use really does offer stay dry (though it might not feeling as dry as diaper with suedecloth or microfleece as lining).
• Not sure if it is only me, but the athletic wicking kind of fabric used on this diaper actually make the baby bum feels cooling when I do diaper change.
• The diaper seems quite stretchy.
• I suppose it can fit up to 13 kgs just like what it stated on the website. (It is just tad bad that my gal is "overweight" in this case. :P)
• I think it would be good if there is accessories like the extender tab for the SNUGGbaby diaper so the diaper can be use beyond the stated weight like what I did.

• As for the diaper insert, the maker might have not take into account that the hemp insert will shrinked.
• I would be more happy if the hemp inset is slightly bigger than the microfiber when it is still new as the hemp insert do shrinked quite a lot after washes.

Review : LampinKain Fitted Diaper

I am wondering how many of the cloth diapering parent in Malaysia have actually try out this local sewn LampinKain fitted diaper as I have NEVER actually come across anyone talk about it be it in the cloth diapering forum or the facebook groups that I joined.

Honestly, I have only came across of LampinKain when I participated and won a diaper from a giveaway by LampinKain way back in August '2011. I didn't know the existance of this diaper brand prior to this. :P

LampinKain is the first local sewn fitted diaper that I have bought before I started to buy some other local sewn fitted diaper. After buying tonnes of cloth diaper from overseas, I decided to give LampinKain fitted diaper a try in support of Malaysian made cloth diaper. 

Style

LampinKain fitted diaper is only available in One Size (OS) with snap closure. You may choose to have the diaper in side snapping or front snapping with overlapping snap closure. At the time I wrote this review, it is not available in hook and loop closure yet.

The soaker have a two part snap in soaker style (one hourglass contour soaker and one trifold) just like the Itti Bitti AI2 diaper soaker style.

The constructions of the diaper is as follows :-

• Body (Total 3 layers)
• 1 layer of knit cotton print outer, 1 layer of hidden bamboo fleece, 1 layer of bamboo velour for inner OR 1 layer of microchamois (if you choose stay dry inner)
• Trifold Soaker (When unfolded - Total 2 layers. When folded - Total of 6 layers)

• 1 layer of bamboo fleece and 1 layer of bamboo velour
• Hourglass Contour Soaker (Total 3 layers)
• 2 layers of bamboo fleece and 1 layer of bamboo velour OR 1 layer of microchamois (if you choose stay dry inner)

The diaper will have a total of 12 layers of absorbent layer if you choose to have bamboo velour inner or 10 layers of absorbent layer if you choose to have a stay dry inner instead.

LampinKain fitted diaper is available in selected choice of prints. It is not available in plain solid colors.

My Verdict (After more than 10 times of usage)

1. Price & Availability

• This LampinKain fitted diaper is retailing for RM 79.90 which is quite a standard market price for fitted diaper in my humble opinion.
• It priced slightly cheaper compared to some other fitted diaper which is also sewn by local mama.
• I bought mine from LampinKain when it is having introductory discount on it's fitted diaper sometime end of last year.
• Anyway, it do no harm if you try to ask the seller and see if she can offer any discount right... :P
• There isn't much in-stock available for this even on LampinKain online store since it is mostly made-to-order diaper.
• As far as I know, there is no reseller or retailer selling this at the moment and such, we can only get the diaper from LampinKain directly.

2. Fitting

• Like most One Size diaper, this fitted diaper sizing is adjusted using the rise snap in front of the diaper.
• I have been using this diaper on TY at the highest rise setting since TY is already close to 22 months old when I got this.
• I really like the fitting of this fitted diaper on TY as it look quite trim without the bulky looking bum.
• It doesn't leave any red mark on TY as well.
• When TY wear it, the fitting of this fitted diaper is totally different from the LampinKain pocket diaper that I got from the giveaway.
• The LampinKain pocket diaper that I got from the giveaway is way too generous in sizing.

• Since I get the one with side snapping closure, I do not encounter any wing drop problem as well.
• The diaper have a row row snap where you can do the adjustment for the waist and thigh sizing accordingly.
• There is 5 snaps at each row on the wing tab to get a better fit for the waist.

• It have a turned and topstitched finishing for the leg elastic which I suppose it is good as for some baby thigh might rub against the diaper causing itchiness if it is a serged finishing diaper.

• The diaper wing tab will looks a bit slanted down when my daughter is wearing it.
• This could be due to the positioning of the snap.
• Not sure if this is a special feature by the LampinKain of it's diaper since most diaper have a rather straight wing tab when being wore.
• Neither way, I like it slanted as it make the diaper looks trim.
• But to some other mama, I believe they might have an odd feeling towards it as if it looks like the diaper gonna fall off anytime soon... :P

3. Absorbency 

• This is one of the daytime fitted diaper that I like to use as it is absorbent enough for me to use this for around 2 hours before the next diaper change.
• I didn't use it for overnight as from my past experience, the absorbency might not enough for me to use it for night diapering on my heavy wetter daughter.
• But then again, I believe it can be use for night diapering if your child is a light or medium wetter.

4. Colours/ Prints

• Since this is a made-to-order fitted diaper, we may choose the outer print of the diaper that we want. (This is the beauty of the custom diaper, isn't it)
• From the LampinKain fabric selection link, there's around 20 cotton prints to choose from at the time I wrote this review.
• Most of the fabric (if not all) is imported from US.
• I was hoping LampinKain will offer the outer diaper print in woven cotton as well in the future since the cotton knit fabric colors print fade rather fast with the frequent washes.
• Personally, I like fitted diaper with woven cotton outer as the color prints stay longer and fade slower than knit cotton even though it is not as soft or stretchy as fitted diaper with knit cotton outer.

 

5. Overviews

• Overall, I do like this diaper as it's really trim.
• This diaper is just slightly bigger than the size Large Itti Bitti SIO diaper by a bit.

• But I think improvement can be done on the soaker style.
• The current soaker style dry pretty fast but I do not think it is suitable for use if you are using the diaper at smaller setting.
• When the diaper is use at the smaller setting, you'll required to fold the soaker in such a way that the diaper will look kinds of odd.
• There since this diaper have a two part soaker style, there is snap to hold the soaker just like the Itti Bitti diaper at the top and bottom of the diaper.
• For the side snapping closure diaper, the hourglass contour soaker MUST be snapped to the back of the diaper and the trifold MUST be snapped to the front in order to get the stay dry inner around the tummy area (refer picture below).

• If the soaker is snapped the other way, you'll a wet tummy as the wing tab will touch directly to baby (the stay dry will be under the wing tab if you get what I mean)
• Finally, this have nothing to do the the performance or special feature of the diaper, but there is still some little thing that I like on this diaper. Hehehe...
• For some stupid reason, I have fallen in love with the woven label on the back of this diaper.... :P

Comparison : BambooLite Printed Fleece Cover VS CM-TrueFit PUL Extra

From one of the forum that I joined, there is some who actually interested to get the BambooLite printed fleece cover to use with the BambooLite foldover insert as it is a cheaper option as compared to the BambooLite CM-TrueFit PUL Extra which already comes with the foldover insert.

I'll not advocate which option is better as it is all boil down to your personal preference. What I wrote here is just some different between the printed fleece cover (when use with the foldover insert) and also the PUL Extra.

1. Cost

Price shown below is retail price and exclude discount if any.

• Printed Fleece Cover (Limited Edition prints) + foldover insert - RM 63.00
• Printed Fleece Cover (not LE prints) + foldover insert - RM 61.00
• PUL Extra (already comes with foldover insert) - RM 66.00

2. Water-proofing and breathability

• Printed Fleece Cover
• It is water resistant but not waterproof.
• It is water resistant only when it is wash correctly.
• Diaper fleece cover should be wash with the usual laundry with fabric softener and not with the diapers laundry.
• There is still possibility that it'll leak since it is not waterproof.
• But this usually happen only if the fitted diaper or the soaker is very soiled to the extend it can't hold any wetness anymore.
• PUL Extra
• As the name implies, it have a layer of PUL which is waterproof.
• It reduced the possibility of leakage when it is wear correctly and fit well with baby.
• Not as breathable as the fleece cover so baby bum might feel warm/ hot.

3. Prints/ Colours

• Printed Fleece Cover
• Comes only in prints.
• There are 5 prints available.
• PUL Extra 
• Comes only in solid colours.
• There are 10 colours to choose from.

4. Closure

• Printed Fleece Cover
• Only comes with snap closure.
• Side snapping.
• PUL Extra 
• Can choose between snap or velcro closure.
• Front snapping/ velcro with overlapping snap/ velcro.
• Velcro closure will be more caretaker/ babysitter friendly as compared to snap closure.

5. Style

• Printed Fleece Cover
• As diaper cover when use without the insert - can use the same cover for a few time before wash
• As AI2 when use with the insert. Simply lay on the insert to the cover.
• PUL Extra
• As pocket diaper - there is a pocket opening to stuff the insert.
• As diaper cover when use without the insert - but still need to change in each diaper change since the inner is made of absorbent layer or else it might stinks if continue to use it with other fitted diaper as cover.
• As AIO - can lay on the insert instead of stuff into the pocket and there is snap to hold the insert.
• Note : Though it can be use like AI2, I put it here only as AIO as the inner is made of absorbent layer.

6. Bulkiness

Both is almost the same but the Printed Fleece Cover might be slighly bulkier than the PUL Extra by a bit as it is more "fluffy".

7. Total Absorbency Layers

(After the foldover insert is fold to half)

• Printed Fleece Cover - 6 layers (All from the foldover insert)
• PUL Extra - 7 layers (6 layers from the foldover insert, 1 layer from the diaper inner)

8. Size

• Printed Fleece Cover
• Comes in 2 sizes - Size 1 and Size 2 (Might have to buy 2 pcs of the different size to last till potty trained)

Review : BambooLite Printed Fleece Diaper Cover

BambooLite have launched some products not too long ago. This includes the new printed fleece cover. This is just a quick review as I don't think I have use it long enough to actually do a proper review on this.

Style

BambooLite fleece diaper cover is a side snapping diaper cover that comes in 2 sizes (Size 1 and Size 2).

Information that I got from the BambooLite website, it says that it is made from anti-pill fleece. Size 1 is said better suit petite baby (3 - 12kg), while Size 2 fit chunky baby (5 - 18 kg).

It have a turned and topstiched finishing on the leg casing and serged finishing on the front, wing tab as well as on back. It is a fleece diaper cover that can be use as All-in-Two (AI2) diaper when you lay on a soaker (not provided).

Currently, BambooLite printed fleece cover comes in 5 different prints with 2 of it is the limited edition print.

My Verdict (After around 1 - 3 times of usage)

1. Price & Availability

• The diaper cover is retailing for RM 37 for the limited edition print while the rest is retailing for RM 35.
• You can get the diaper cover as cheap as RM 28 with the BambooLite current anniversary sales which is offering this at 20% discount.
• To me, it is not an expensive diaper cover but I would not say it's very cheap either.
• I bought this diaper cover directly from BambooLite but I think you can get it from most of it's retailer.

2. Fitting

• According to BambooLite sizing guide, Size 1 will fit baby from 3 - 12kg. 
• My daughter is about 12+ or 13kg right now and she still fit well on the largest setting of Size 1.
• I have not try the Size 2 on her yet as Size 2 looks really generous sizing.
• I tried to use this as AI2 (with the BambooLite foldover soaker) and it works well without leaking.
• When I use it as diaper cover over a fitted diaper, it can't cover the whole fitted diaper as I still can see there is some part of the fitted diaper is "exposed".
• But I think it is because the fitted is bulky and I should have use Size 2 fleece cover instead of size 1.
• Actually there isn't much different for the crotch width between Size 1 and Size 2.
• It might differ by about 1 cm or so (I didn't measure it with ruler. Only roughly estimate it from what I see)
• But there is huge different on the rise between both by at least 2 inches.

3. Absorbency

• Since this is a fleece diaper cover, it does not offer any absorbency.
• As for the absorbency when you use it as AI2, it is solely depends on what is the type of soaker that you use.
• Please also note that when you intend to use this as AI2, you can only lay the soaker and not snap the soaker to the fleece cover as there is not snap to hold the soaker.
• The BambooLite's hybrid insert or the foldover insert can lay on to the inner of this diaper cover well.
• There is minimal movement of the insert/ soaker as the inner have the lighweight windpro fleece where you can actually stuff both end of the insert/ soaker to keep it in place.

4. Colours/ Prints

• As what I have mentioned earlier, currently BambooLite is offering 5 different prints for this fleece cover.
• Leaf, Lamb and Wild is the normal prints
• Dot and Orange is the limited edition prints.
• It'll looks great for those who fancy printed over plain color fleece diaper.
• I personally love the Dot limited edition prints. Don't really fancy the other limited edition print though.

5. Overviews

• Personally, I like this diaper cover.
• The fleece diaper is water resistant (but not waterproof) when you wash it correctly and yet it's breathable which is why I like it. 
• The side snapping design actually really helps to reduce the wing drop problem.
• Side snapping diaper have reduced if not eliminate the wing drop problem as compared to front snapping diaper. (This applied to all other diaper and not to this cover only)

• The idea to have turned and topstiched finishing on the leg casing and not to the whole diaper cover have actually helps to reduce the bulkiness on those diaper cover.
• Please not that, it is not actually really "that" bulky as compared to the BambooLite PUL diaper shell.
• It's just slightly bulky and you may not or hardly notice the different unless you really do the comparison between both side by side.
• But there is also something that I don't quite like about this cover too.
• This fleece cover have a hidden serged back elastic.
• From the way it is serged, it should have not rub against the skin but yet it rubbed against my daughter back leaving some red back on her back.

Review : Envibum AIO Diaper

the elastic to adjust the rise of the diaper.



Envibum is quite a new diaper brand that I come across few months back from a local retailer here. When I read the story about Envibum, it seems to be started of as a WAHM (Dad, grandparent, and other family includes in this case) just like most of the other diaper brand that I know. You may read more about their story HERE.

Being a self-confessed cloth diaper addicts myself and also curious about the diaper, I have bought the preloved diaper off from the FSOT in a local diaperswapper forum here. According to the mama, she have bought the diaper new and she have used it for a few times only. So the diaper that I got is actually in an excellant good used condition.

Style

Envibum is an One Size All-in-One (AIO) diaper with a pocket where you can stuff it with it's absorbency pad to increase the absorbency. The absorbency pad is said to made from 100% cotton fiber for the inner with flannel outer. There is hook and loop on the absorbency pad so that we can actually "attach" it inside the pocket to avoid it moving out of place.

It have a nice fluffy minky outer body but without snap for size adjustment like most common cloth diaper do. And no, they are not a fold-down rise type of diaper either. Envibum diaper is unique as the rise is adjust with the two elastic which is sewn to the front of the diaper.

As for the inner it have unbleached cotton textured which Envibum called it as "absorbency channel". This make it an AIO as the unbleached cotton layer is an absorbent layer itself instead of a wicking layer like other AI2 diapers has.

When I browse thru Envibum website, it seems like it is only available in hook and loop closure style. No snap closure. But then not to worry also as it have laundry tab to reduce lints during washes.

My Verdict (After around 5 - 10 times of usage)

1. Price & Availability

• The Envibum is listed in a local online store at RM 115 which I think it's quite expensive.
• The cheapest that I have seen thus far is at RM 85 which is during a promotion sometime ago.
• Anyway, I personally still find it's quite expensive for this diaper.
• I found there is actually 3 reseller of Envibum diaper in Malaysia from the Envibum website. They are :-
• Sentuhan Bayu
• Just Simply Baby
• Everything About Baby Thing (Not sure why, but I didn't see the diaper got listed in this online store)

2. Fitting

• There is no snap to adjust the rise or size of the diaper. The rise of the diaper is adjusted with the elastic that is located in front of the diaper. If you prefer higher rise then simply pull the diaper up.

• I like the way how it can be adjust but what I don't like is the rise will sort of shorten abit after that. Just imagine you pull a elastic and when there is nothing to hold the other end it will go back to it's original state.
• My gal can fit on this cloth diaper like a hipster style cloth diaper.
• Not sure is it because she is really a tall girl or is it because the diaper have a short rise.
• The elastic is quite gentle and I don't see red mark on my daughter.
• But my daughter will have a big bum when she is wearing this diaper though.
• Probably due to the fluffiness of the minky outer of the diaper and yes, she does looks cute with the big bums. Hahaha...
• The diaper crotch is rather wide but I don't find it an issue on my gal.
• Am more curiuos to see how it will looks like on a newborn though. (Anyone with newborn who want to try out this diaper?)

3. Absorbency

• Envibum have 2 layers of unbleached cotton "absorbency channel" for the inner diaper which is also an absorbent layer. 
• It comes with an absorbency pad for each diaper.

This is to "attached" to the inner velcro in the pocket so that the absorbency pad
will stay at it's place.


• I have read some reviews before I actually bought this diaper off from the FSOT.
• Most of the reviews that I read previously mentioned that the absorbency is good.
• Some even said they can use the diaper for overnight when they use 2 pieces of the absorbency pad.
• I think probably those reviewer have actually use this diaper only on their younger baby. Those babies who are under 4 months old or so or their baby is really a small wetter.
• The absorbency of this diaper is the part that I HATE most on this diaper.
• I read that the absorbency pad is made of cotton fiber but am not sure how is the cotton fiber actually looks like or how many layers are there.
• But one thing for sure, the cotton fiber inside the absorbency pad have actually crumpled to became like a "ball" (a few small "ball") after a few washes causing some part of the absorbency pad have no cotton fiber at all while all the "crumpled" cotton fiber is "moved" to one corner in the pad.
• Anyway, when use with 1 piece of the absorbency pad, the diaper couldn't hold the wetness for my heavy wetter daughter.
• Am better off in using this diaper with my own inserts than the absorbency pad that comes with it (at least the inserts that I have in my daughter's diaper stash won't get "crumbled" easily like the absorbency pad do).

4. Colours/ Prints

• By far, I have not seen Envibum is available on prints.
• It is only available in a few nice solid minky colour like green, aqua (blue), yellow, pink, red and white.
• Limited choices of colour if you asked me. :p

5. Overviews

• What I like about Envibum is the minky outer of the diaper is really soft and fluffy at the same time. It feel so soft and nice to touch it.
• The hook and loop closure diaper make it a babysitter or daddy friendly cloth diaper as it is easy to use.
• The hook and loop also doesn't feel very coarse like some diaper too which is a plus point as baby skin wil not be scratches by it.
• And as I have mentioned earlier in this post, the diaper have 2 layers of unbleached cotton which is textured.
• Envibum named the texture as "absorbency channel".
• Well, when I first look at it, the texture looks very much like the kitchen cloth that I bought from a hypermarket near where I lived. No jokes, I really mean it!!

• Personnally I don't quite like this "absorbency channel".
• Each time my daughter wear the diaper, there'll be this "absorbency channel" texture marks on her bum as well.
• No red mark on her thigh for fitting but there is mark on the bums. Funny, huh?
• Poo poo might also trap in between the texture.
• As on the absorbency pad, there is hook and loop on it where we can "stick" it to inside of the pocket but I don't find it very useful though and at time I find it's annoying.
• Probably because am still unable to get used to it's idea.
• The idea of Envibum is we can actually leave the absorbency pad there and use it as a truly AIO diaper (like those all sewn in AIO).
• They offer us the flexibility to be able to remove the absorbency pad for a throughout and better cleaning for which those all sewn in diaper can't.
• But do you think you'll want it to stay in the same place all the time when the cotton fiber can get "crumbled"?
• I use other inserts from my daughter diaper stash with this diaper. The insert will still stay in it's place even there's not hook and look on those.
• Well, there is also velcro near to the pocket opening too. So the insert will not come out from the pocket easily.

• Anyway, overall am fine with the diaper EXCEPT for it's absorbency pad.
• Hopefully Envibum will do some improvement on it's absorbency pad and they'll keep in mind that there is some toddler who is a heavy wetter (like my daughter).

Review : Bottombumpers AIO Diaper

Bottombumpers is my personal favourite cloth diaper. It is the first cloth diaper that I know that comes with embroidery and this is also the reason why I first try out Bottombumpers. From what I read previously, Bottombumpers started off as small WAHM brand in US before it's business is expands further to outside US - including to Malaysia.

Style

Bottombumpers have a snap in soaker like the AI2 style. But as it sold as AIO for a reason. The inner layer of Bottombumpers is made of organic cotton which is an absorbent layer and since it's an absorbent layer, it does not wicks moisture/ wetness like an AI2.

The soaker is a bifold snap in soaker making it looks like there is 2 petal. One of the soaker petal is made of 2 layers of organic cotton topped with bamboo velour. The second petal soaker is 2 layers organic cotton.

Like most diaper, Bottombumpers is available in snap or velcro closure. Snap clousure is for the side snapping diaper while velcro closure is available for front closure diaper. For it's diaper with velcro, it comes with laundry tab and crossover tab.

Previously Bottombumpers is available only as sized diaper. It's available in size small, medium and large. But recently, Bottombumpers have launched it's new product which is an One Size side snapping AIO diaper.

Currently Bottombumpers is available only in solid colours. There's more than 10 colours to choose from includes brown, candy pink, yellow, sky blue, navy blue, olive, red, baby pink, aqua, lilac and more. You'll be spoilt by the choice of colours that they have.

Bottombumpers comes with embroidery too. If you buy it directly from US, then you get to custom order the embroidery design that you one. But of course, that also means it comes with a higher price tag.

My Verdict (After 9 months of usage)

1. Price & Availability

• The diaper is priced to the higher end.
• If it is embroidered then it can easily cost more than RM 100.
• There is only one online store that selling bottombumper when I first bought it. But now there is a few local online store that retailing it

2. Fitting

• Basically I have fall in love with Bottombumpers because this is one of the diaper that fit my daughter like a glove.
• Not to mention, it's very trim too.
• It fit my daughter without leaving red marks on her.
• The crotch of the diaper is quite trim too. From the looks of it, it is about the same crotch width as Itti Bitti D'lish.
• For the side snapping diaper, there is 2 row x 5 columns of snap at each wing tab.
• This make the diaper will fit the baby longer.
• The two row of snap available also make us able to adjust the thigh and the waist setting separately though there is some limitation as to how much we can adjust.
• My daughter have been using Medium sized Bottombumpers diaper from the day I bought it and she is still using it now.
• The snap is hidden too so it doesn't leave marks on my daughter.

can last for very long, the side snapping style also reduce the wing drop problem.

3. Absorbency

• The snap in soaker as mentioned earlier have a total of 5 layers absorbency.
• Since the inner lining of the diaper is made of an absorbent layer - organic cotton, the Bottombumpers offer a total of 6 layers absorbency.
• It is an absorbent diapers when it is fully prep washed.
• But the absorbency is still not enough for my heavy wetter daughter. That's why I usually use this diaper with 1 or 2 Bottombumpers doubler to boost the absorbency.
• Nevertheless, this is a good diaper for short outing.

4. Colours/ Printed

• As what I have mentioned in my previous post, I have the liking for printed diaper.
• Bottombumpers don't offer printed diaper
• It is only available in solid colours or embroidered.
• For this reason, I go for embroidered diaper and sold off the solid colours that I have.
• I have bought most of my embroidered Bottombumpers from US since there is limited choice of embroidered Bottombumpers in the local online store.

5. Overviews

• I really like the trimness of Bottombumpers diaper.
• After months using it, the colours of the embroidery still looks very nice.
• The embroidery is still as good as it's still new and there is no sign of colour fade. Well, at least for now...  :p
• When my daughter is younger, she can wear her romper with Bottombumpers.
• The side snapping closure for Bottombumpers really do help to reduce if not eliminates the wing drop problem that some front snapping diaper have.
• After using it for months, the diaper still have very good elastic.
• The diaper have turned and top stitched finishing with encased leg elastic which is really good as it doesn't rub against my daughter thigh like what usually serged diaper does.
• Since the bifold snap in soaker is like 2 petal that sewn together at one end, it really helps in shorten the drying time.
• I don't know why but the some of the Bottombumpers soaker that I have is longer than the rest.
• That is why sometime I'll have to fold down the soaker a bit so that it can fit nicely in the diaper.
